- A water main break on Sullivan Street has caused outages on Royal Drive and parts of Wall Triana Highway in Madison. According to Madison Utilities, the outage was set to end around 10:30 p.m. As of writing (around 10:30 p.m.), there has not been an update from Madison Utilities. (WHNT News 19, Madison Utilities)
- The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is hosting an Artemis I launch party Monday, August 21! The doors will open at 6:30 a.m. ahead of a 7:33 a.m.-9:33 a.m. launch window. (WHNT News 19)
- The teenager charged with killing Amy Bishop’s son, Seth Anderson, has been indicted and has filed to be tried as a youthful offender because he was 18 at the time of the crime. According to his attorney, the teenager has taken several steps to put his life on the right track since the incident. (AL.com)
