  1. The Artemis I mission is set to launch overnight — around midnight Tuesday going into Wednesday — so I’ll keep you updated on how that went in tomorrow’s Daily! (CNN)
  2. Mayor Tommy Battle has appointed three new department heads within the city and they will (likely) be confirmed on Nov. 17 at the city council meeting. The appointees are Kirk Giles as the new police chief, Nicholas Nene as the director of the Traffic Engineering Department and Tara Sloan as the new director of the head of the Cemetery Department.   3. The Limestone County Historical Society has announced this year’s collectible ornament will feature the Limestone County Courthouse Bell! There are 200 ornaments available, and you can only get them at Osborne’s for $20 each. (News Courier)
