- The City Of Huntsville will host the Big 10 Mayors. This is an extension of the Big 5 Mayors that started in 2014 with the intention of getting mayors from the five largest cities together to meet and discuss the upcoming regular legislative session. (Patch)
- A Huntsville Police Officer charged with capital murder Friday. Officer David McCoy is on administrative leave until a death investigation can be completed. He was not on duty at the time of the incident. (WHNT)
- Limestone County is planning to widen Mooresville Road near Madison. The project will not add any new lanes, but will add more space to the current lanes. (themadisonrecord.com)
