- Bryant Bank made a $100,000 donation to the UAH College of Nursing as part of a pledge to donate $3 million over thirty years. (Patch)
- A Hazel Green teenager was chosen as one of 100 students to participate in the Disney Dreamers Academy. Mackenzie Hill joins four other black students from underrepresented communities in Alabama to be in the program. (WAFF)
- Breeze Airways, the newest airline with routes out of Huntsville, has purchased new planes and their Charleston route is coming back next month. They are planning more routes, but haven’t announced whether or not they will impact the Rocket City. (WAAY)
- Lansing Companies has pledged $1 million to the North Alabama Zoological Society. This is the company that bought the land that the organization hopes to purchase to house the zoo. They still have $6.5 million to raise. (WAFF)
