Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:

  1. Bridge Street Town Centre has been approved to be an entertainment district! The purple cups for alcohol will start early June to make sure shops have time to make the adjustment. (WAFF)
  2. The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday brought in thousands of pounds of canned goods. Letter carriers picked up canned goods left by patrons and the food was donated to the Food Bank of North Alabama. (WHNT)
  3. The UAH softball team saw the conclusion of their run for regionals come to an end Saturday. They took on AUM and came up short 3-0. The Chargers ended the season 46-10. (WAAY)
  4. The Lynyrd Skynyrd show at the Orion Amphitheater has been canceled. The event was set for May 20, but was canceled due to scheduling conflicts with the band. Ticket holders should expect a refund from their point of purchase. (WHNT)
