To celebrate Earth Month, Bridge Street Town Centre, a Tanger property, invites the community to donate their used sneakers – any kind, size or condition – to support its new recycling program. Shoppers can give back by donating pairs of shoes at the donation station inside the Cinemark Lobby from April 22–29 during theatre operating hours. Shoes collected will be recycled through Tanger’s partnership with Sneaker Impact, repurposing them into rubber material for future soft play surfaces and other usable products.
On April 29 from 5–7 p.m., the sneaker drive will culminate with Bridge Street’s Earth Month Celebration: Reuse. Replant. Recycle. Guests can enjoy themed crafts, yard games and live jazz music in the Cinemark Courtyard. Additional recycling opportunities at the event will include:
·Denim recycling with Madewell - receive a $20 coupon for every pair of jeans donated (no limit). All denim is accepted for recycling; only jeans are eligible for the offer.*
·Clothing and Textile recycling with H&M - bring any clean clothes or textile to donate and receive a special 15% off coupon.*
**Guests must also donate a pair of shoes to Sneaker Impact to receive these offers.
