In this laid back group for young writers, teens can do the following: work on their writing in a group setting; do writing exercises; discuss their writing or writing in general with other teens; receive feedback on a 3-6 page typed, double-spaced &amp; printed excerpt of their writing. This is not a writing class, but a chance work on writing while engaging with peers.

This free, one-day family event will feature original LEGO® creations built by members of TNVLC, a local adult hobby club celebrating its 18th year in 2026. In addition to a display of unique builds featuring trains, a collaborative moon base and original builds of many different styles and subjects, the event will include a botanical activity for families in <a href="https://events.hmcpl.org/event/2026-08-29/brick-galaxy-huntsville-build-sessions" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">LEGO® build sessions</a> on the hour&nbsp;in our kids classroom for children to use their own imaginations.
