Bridge Street Town Centre, A Tanger Property, will welcome SafeSplash SwimLabs on Monday, Oct. 12. The new 9,276-square-foot facility, located behind Main Event, will offer year-round swim instruction, advanced stroke development and technology-based training for swimmers of all ages.
SafeSplash SwimLabs starts with exceptional swim instruction which includes a structured, curriculum-based approach designed to build skills, water competency and confidence. For swimmers who want to go further, there is a clear pathway for continued development, using individualized assessment, technology and advanced instruction to improve technique, performance and competitive readiness. Whether the goal is learning to swim or becoming a better swimmer, the focus is the same. Measurable progress and better outcomes in the water.
That path starts with water competency. Young swimmers learn to be comfortable, independent and safe in the water. As skills develop, instruction shifts toward better technique, stronger strokes and more efficient swimming. Competitive swimmers can continue that progression through advanced coaching and performance training.
SwimLabs adds another dimension. Specialized training tanks and underwater video allow coaches to analyze what a swimmer is actually doing in the water and make precise, immediate corrections. The same technology used to refine an advanced athlete’s stroke can help a developing swimmer understand and master a new skill.
“SafeSplash SwimLabs brings an exciting new experience to Bridge Street Town Centre and further expands the ways our guests can engage in offerings beyond shopping and dining,” said Marcie Glover, Marketing Director at Bridge Street Town Centre. “Its focus on families, skill-building and year-round programming makes it a strong addition to our evolving mix and another reason for the Huntsville community to spend time at Bridge Street.”
The new location expands SafeSplash SwimLabs’ presence in Huntsville and its commitment to something bigger than swim lessons: developing better swimmers, improving water competency and creating a stronger culture of swimming in North Alabama.
SafeSplash SwimLabs is one of several additions continuing Bridge Street Town Centre’s growth this fall. Llouima’s Custom Tailoring, a 1,500-square-foot pop-up by Belk, is expected to open Oct. 9, adding a new service-focused concept to the center’s mix. SafeSplash and Llouima’s join recent arrivals Rowan, Madewell and L.L. Bean, with Shake Shack, North Italia and additional concepts coming soon.
