Here are the top 3 stories in Huntsville today:

1. This year’s Can-a-thon raised nearly 20,000 pounds of food in North Alabama. There was also a Walmart in Tennessee collecting for Tennessee’s Second Harvest, and they saw 152 pounds of food given, which brought the total donated to over 20,000 pounds. (WAFF)
2. Holiday air travel this year is getting so close to pre-pandemic levels and Huntsville is gearing up! It has gone up 184% since last year, and as of right now, sits only 8% below 2019. If you're traveling out of Huntsville, make sure to allow extra time to get through security right now. (WHNT)
3. Two HEMSI first responders were awarded the first Handtevy Challenge Coins. This was given for how they were able to handle a pediatric case and resuscitate a 6-year-old. (WHNT)
