Here are the top 3 stories in Huntsville today:
- This year’s Can-a-thon raised nearly 20,000 pounds of food in North Alabama. There was also a Walmart in Tennessee collecting for Tennessee’s Second Harvest, and they saw 152 pounds of food given, which brought the total donated to over 20,000 pounds. (WAFF)
- Holiday air travel this year is getting so close to pre-pandemic levels and Huntsville is gearing up! It has gone up 184% since last year, and as of right now, sits only 8% below 2019. If you're traveling out of Huntsville, make sure to allow extra time to get through security right now. (WHNT)
- Two HEMSI first responders were awarded the first Handtevy Challenge Coins. This was given for how they were able to handle a pediatric case and resuscitate a 6-year-old. (WHNT)
