- The Huntsville City Council has passed an abortion-related policy change. The new policy states that city resources will be not prioritize abortion-based investigations and focus on other needs of the city. (WAAY)
- The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s Director of the Center for Cybersecurity Research and Education (CCRE) and a CCRE engineer were recognized at the 2022 National Cyber Summit. Dr. Tommy Morris, the CCRE Director, was given the 2022 Cybersecurity Education Award. Research Engineer Steven Forney received the 2022 Joe Popinski Cyber Excellence Award.
