- Two Huntsville Utilities employees were injured early this morning when their utility truck slipped off the road. Both are expected to be okay, and at the time of writing, Hazmat will be looking at the scene because first responders did clean a small fuel spill. (WAAY)
- The fourth floor at Huntsville Hospital is getting a makeover! The hospital received a $500,000 donation that will allow the makeover for the pediatric unit. (WZDX)
- Several Huntsville area teams are in the final four for their division going into the state finals. Games start Monday in Birmingham to determine our basketball state champions. (WHNT)
- The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards organization has taken notice of Bob Jones students! Several Bob Jones students were given the highest award and the organization recognized the school for the creativity of the students. (themadisonrecord.com)
- The AHSAA has responded to Governor Ivey's request for more information following Oakwood Adventist having to forfeit because the game was supposed to be played before sundown on the Sabbath, going against their religion. However, the AHSAA says school signed an agreement in 2017 when they entered the AHSAA that stated they would play the games on the schedule set by the organization, and concerns were allegedly raised when the school applied because many championship games would be played during the time they observe the Sabbath. This conflict has made headlines around the country. (WHNT)
