  1. With the first launch of the Artemis program coming up, NASA leaders took the time yesterday to come to Huntsville. They took the opportunity to talk to community members so they better understand the program and what part the city played in the development and functionality of the program. (WHNT)
  2. Athens Utilities has closed to walk-ins due to quarantining employees. The drive-thru window is still open for normal hours. (WHNT)
  3. Drake State’s president, Patricia Sims has been named a 2021 Woman of Impact with Yellowhammer News. According to Dylan Smith, Sims has been an integral part of Drake State and their growth. (Yellowhammer News)
  4. Dunkin' of Alabama has made a $19,600 donation to the Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children. This donation was made in honor of September being Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. (WZDX)
  5. This year’s Cotton Row Run had over 2,000 runners this year. The run was moved from Memorial Day to Labor Day, which made for an opportunity to honor both holidays, and include stickers for fallen service members on each runner’s bib. (Theredstonerocket)
