Here are the top stories in Huntsville today:

1. Did you know there will be a football game at Toyota Field (home to the Trash Pandas during baseball season). The first game in the venue’s history will be an in-state rivalry game between the University of North Alabama and Jacksonville State University. The venue is being reconfigured for the game and is expected to have a 10,000 fan capacity. (MiLB.com)
2. The 51st Soldier for Life-Retiree Appreciation Day will be October 20-21. This benefits update/health fair event, hosted by the Garrison and the Fox Army Health Center, will be at Heiser Hall and the Community Activity Center. (Theredstonerocket)
3. The Oak Place historic antebellum mansion, owned by the East Huntsville Baptist Church, has been sold. The home will be transformed into a venue that will be used for weddings and other events. Currently, the buyer has not been named. (AL.com)
