- After celebrating their 66th anniversary this week, Gibson’s Barbecue went up in flames yesterday. The extent of the damage is unknown, but the owner maintains that they will return. (WHNT)
- Sergeant Chris Dillard of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office passed away yesterday. Sgt. Dillard was escorted to the funeral home last night. Huntsville Patch would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to MCCO and Sgt. Dillard's family and friends. (Morgan County Sheriff's Office)
- Retired Huntsville Police Department Chief Mark McMurray has posted a video to Instagram in support of William Darby, the former officer convicted of murder on the job. The video was posted by the Resiliency Project, which provides support to first responders. (WHNT)
