Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:
- Huntsville Animal Services has hit their limit with kittens and cats in their care. They have waived cat adoption fees and reduced the fee for kittens to $35 through Dec. 5 and are currently not accepting any cats or kittens. This will also affect the TNR program. (Patch Press Release Desk)
- Fantasy Playhouse received a $25,000 grant, which has been and is being used to launch their Fantasy Playhouse Technical Theatre STE(A)M Lab. This will allow Fantasy to teach more about the technical side of theatre. (themadisonrecord.com)
- The Rocket City Christmas Light Show and Winter Wonderland is now open for the season at Toyota Field. It will be open every night from 5-9 p.m., rain or shine. Cars cost $30 and passenger vans and other large vehicles will cost $60 to drive through. (WHNT News 19)
- Fantasy Playhouse's annual showing of “A Christmas Carol” is set to open Dec. 2 at the VBC Playhouse for their 32nd year! Adult tickets will be $21, kids ages 3-18 will be $16, and ages 2 and under are free if they're sitting on someone's lap. (themadisonrecord.com)
