  1. After an anonymous tip to resource officers, a Hazel Green High School student was allegedly found with a handgun and was removed from the school’s campus. According to Madison County school resource officers, no threats had been made by the student regarding any staff members or other students. The student will face disciplinary actions as outlined in the school system’s code of conduct. (WHNT News 19)
  2. The city's new football (American soccer) club has been named, their crest and colors have been revealed and their first season tickets have gone on sale! You'll be able to catch the Huntsville City Football Club, or more commonly Huntsville City FC, at Joe Davis Stadium in the spring. (AL.com)
  3. The HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology hosted a "Tie the Ribbon" event yesterday in an effort to raise money for cancer research. This event, the first in-person since 2019, was directed at research for breast and ovarian cancers. (WAFF)
