- The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library System is now fine free! This means all past-due fines are forgiven, and no more will be accrued. You will still get late notices and you’ll be responsible for paying for lost books, but your account won’t be blocked due to late fees anymore. This is the first large library system in the state to eliminate fines to increase accessibility to reading. (WZDX)
- On Sunday, May 29, the Huntsville Museum of Art is kicking off summer by having free admission! They’ll even have docents at every exhibit to answer questions. (WHNT)
- East Limestone High School’s football coach, Jeffery Allen Pugh, was arrested with a DUI Monday according to arrest records online.
