  1. Lt. Tess Hughes with the HPD competed in the 2022 U.S. Police and Fire Games in San Diego last week. She brought home seven gold medals! Congrats Lt. Hughes! (Details)
  2. Former Trash Pandas player David MacKinnon has been called up to play with the Angels. He is the fourth player on the team to be called up this year. (WHNT)
  3. Huntsville Hospital’s Jean Wessel Temple Community Health Initiative has awarded $500,000 between 13 organizations in Madison County. Each group was awarded a different amount, and the money will be distributed over the next year. (WHNT)
  4. The Trash Pandas beat the Montgomery Biscuits 7-2. This game won the Trash Pandas the first half North Division title and secured their spot in the postseason. They will start game one with a home field advantage. (Fox 54)
  5. City Councilman Kling is hosting public office hours today. He will be at the downtown branch of the library between 6-7 p.m. and you will not need an appointment. (City of Huntsville)
