Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:

  1. The old Coca-Cola bottle company building is being given a new purpose! Rocket Development Partners is getting ready to turn it into a $325 million mixed-use space, and they’re set to start next year. (WHNT)
  2. As of December 8, all UAH employees will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19. There are exemptions made for medical, religious or disabilities reasons. This mandate is due to the executive order from President Biden. (WAAY)
  3. Huntsville Arts Week kicks off today! Make sure to check out events now through Halloween to learn about and experience more of the city’s art scene! (WAFF)
  4. The Madison City Community Orchestra is back on the stage tomorrow. Make sure to check them out to hear everything from Star Wars to classical music! (themadisonrecord.com)
  5. With HAS under renovations, they need some community help. Laundry is piling up and they are unable to wash it onsite, so if you are able to take a bag or two of cat supplies that need to be washed to clean, that would be a huge help. They’ll even pay for you to take it to a laundromat if you have time but don’t want to use your home. (WZDX)
