1. Madison is going to be the first in Alabama to see another new restaurant! Eggs Up Grill will have indoor space as well as a dining patio, and will be located at 300 Hughes Rd in a building set to be transformed into the new restaurant in about three months. (themadisonrecord.com)
2. Back in the summer, a citizen and two city council members worked to remove sharp stakes from a mountain bike trail at John Hunt Park. Now, there is still concern from citizens. The City Administrator has said there is not a danger, so just be aware when you are out on the trails. (WHNT)
3. Tomorrow, St. John Paul II Catholic High School will be celebrating their 25th anniversary! They’re having a family festival tomorrow and a “Year for Silver Celebration” dinner next February. (WZDX)
4. UAH is gearing up for athletics to kick back up with some exciting changes this year! Spragins will be undergoing some renovations and all regular-season games at Charger Park or volleyball games at Kelly Court have been sponsored and will be FREE to the public thanks to Alabama Credit Union!
