- Madison is going to be the first in Alabama to see another new restaurant! Eggs Up Grill will have indoor space as well as a dining patio, and will be located at 300 Hughes Rd in a building set to be transformed into the new restaurant in about three months. (themadisonrecord.com)
- Back in the summer, a citizen and two city council members worked to remove sharp stakes from a mountain bike trail at John Hunt Park. Now, there is still concern from citizens. The City Administrator has said there is not a danger, so just be aware when you are out on the trails. (WHNT)
- Tomorrow, St. John Paul II Catholic High School will be celebrating their 25th anniversary! They’re having a family festival tomorrow and a “Year for Silver Celebration” dinner next February. (WZDX)
- UAH is gearing up for athletics to kick back up with some exciting changes this year! Spragins will be undergoing some renovations and all regular-season games at Charger Park or volleyball games at Kelly Court have been sponsored and will be FREE to the public thanks to Alabama Credit Union!
