Huntsville Hospital Update + American Freedom Foundation Job Fair

Rise and shine, Rocket City! In today's Daily, we'll take a look at an update from Huntsville Hospital, the Harvest murder-suicide involving a father and son, and a job fair being held by the American Freedom Foundation.

First, today's weather:

Here are the top five stories in Huntsville today:

1. A Huntsville man has brought a professional recording studio to Huntsville. Justin Miller grew up having to travel to Nashville to record, so he thought he could bring a bit of that to us! (WHNT)
2. Documents have been revealed in the recent murder-suicide after a Harvest man allegedly killed his son and then himself. These documents reveal that the mother filed for help keeping her son safe after the father threatened to kill her multiple times. The man was served with the complaint, and the pair was found dead two days later. (WAAY)
3. As of Friday, Huntsville Hospital alone had 92 COVID patients in the hospital and 32 in the ICU. They are getting prepared for those numbers to increase faster and faster. The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) has asked that anyone that can avoid the ER stays away and goes to their primary care physician or an urgent care office whenever possible. (WHNT)
4. The American Freedom Foundation is hosting a job fair Wednesday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Von Braun Center. It will be free for veterans and active military members to attend. (WAFF)
5. Fair Park Counseling is opening a branch in Huntsville! They are a counseling office out of Tupelo, MS and will offer to work with people on everything from marriage to mental health assessments. (WRDE)
