Here are the top stories in Huntsville today:
- Here's a list of many places around North Alabama that will be delayed or closed today due to the weather and road conditions. As of writing (around 11 p.m. Monday night), all City of Huntsville municipal offices, Madison County offices and Lawrence County offices will be delayed until 10 a.m. and the Arsenal will be closed. At this time, all roads in the City of Madison have been closed, which can affect your insurance coverage should you choose to drive on them. Make sure to stay safe today, and if you can, stay home and off of the roads. (WAFF) Here is a list of roads that are closed within Madison and surrounding counties: WAAY
- The Thomas W. Davidson Senior Center in Huntsville will be closed for the week due to a burst water pipe. Meals on Wheels and the Center for Adult Daycare will not be affected by this closing. (WAAY)
- The TVA has announced that they will be doing a full review of their response during this weekend's winter storm. While they say that they prepared for this event, the weather moved faster and harder than they could have predicted, and it even caused some records for the company's history to be broken. They thanked the public for their patience during the rolling blackouts. (WHNT News 19)
