- Starting today, paying for Huntsville Transit rides is getting a lot easier! Both Orbit and Access buses will start accepting Token Transit, an app that will allow riders to pay from their smartphone for a contactless option. (City of Huntsville)
- Huntsville was recently a stop for a Hungarian delegation that met with leaders from different parts of Alabama. The delegation was hosted by Global Ties Alabama, which is headquartered here in Huntsville and has been since 1965. (themadisonrecord.com)
- The Botanical Garden is getting ready for the opening of “Stickwork,” their latest art installation. The official opening for “Stickwork” is March 5, but volunteers have been able to participate in the creation of the display. (WZDX)
- The Athens Whataburger location broke ground yesterday. The store is expected to open this summer and will provide around 120 jobs for the area. (WAAY)
- Radiance Technologies donated $500,000 to the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering. The money will go toward the school’s permanent location, which should open in August. (WAFF)
