  1. Huntsville Utilities brought home six awards at the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association Lineman Rodeo. The awardees included Shawn Blomgren, Todd Payne, Cole Border, Adam Thomas, Colby Lipham, and Andrew Brown. (WHNT)
  2. The Schools Foundation of Huntsville-Madison County is helping Madison City Schools teachers become nationally board certified. They’ve donated to MCS to help offset and cover the costs associated with becoming nationally board certified and further their ability to help students. (WAFF)
  3. A Wear Orange March took place in Huntsville Saturday. The event was spearheaded by local NAACP chapters and Moms Demand Action to raise awareness of gun violence. (WHNT)
  4. The Limestone Vet Clinic will be holding rabies clinics this week for $12. From Wednesday through Saturday, there are several clinics you can take your pets to at various locations to get them updated on their rabies shots! It is state law that all cats and dogs over three months be up-to-date on their rabies shot. (News Courier)
  5. Huntsville City Schools has announced their summer meal service dates. There are some available regardless of location or enrollment status, but some have requirements, so make sure to check for specifics! (WHNT)
