- Bob Baker, a judge in Limestone County, is retiring after almost 20 years behind the gavel! One of the toughest cases of his career was also one of his first, the trail of Farron Barksdale. Congrats on your retirement, Judge Baker! (WAFF)
- Madison City Schools looked at how close they are to reducing their mask requirements to recommended! Part of their requirements was 45 days passing after the vaccine was made available to ages 5-11, which Pfizer was approved for emergency use this week. (WAAY)
- Over the next two years, Huntsville Utilities will be replacing water meters with digital versions. Currently, meter reads are done by employees at Huntsville Utilities, but the digital versions should save customers money by being more accurate. (WAFF)
- UAH has experienced a dip in enrollment for during for the 2021 fall semester. It is possible this drop is due to potential future students being able to see how nurses were treated and paid during the pandemic and wanting more. (WAAY)
- Huntsville has made it to the baseball World Series! Kyle Wright, a former Buckhorn pitcher, made his debut as a Braves pitcher in Game two. He was born in 1995, the same year the Braves won their last World Series. (Tennessean)
