Here are the top stories in Huntsville today:
- The ramps on and off Exit 247 on I-65 to Huntsville Brownsferry Road will be closed starting today and should reopen Friday around 4 p.m. The closure will be daily from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. for repaving. (WHNT News 19)
- O Chi Massage Spa has been ordered to cease and desist any and all massage-related business. According to the order, they were operating without a license from the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy. In Alabama, all massage therapists and all massage therapy establishments are required to be licensed. (WAFF)
- Athens Renaissance School is going fully virtual through Thursday due to a rise in flu cases. Because of Veterans Day, this means students and faculty will return in-person starting Monday. The time will be used to deep clean both campuses. (WAAY)
- Dr. Brian Clayton, the principal at James Clemens, and Chris Shaw, Sparkman High’s principal, have both been named finalists in the search for a new Hartselle superintendent. They are among four other finalists. The board has a goal to hire a replacement by Jan. 1 to start the new term, though they have until March 1. (themadisonrecord.com)
