- The COVID-19 vaccine booster will be available to immunocompromised individuals starting Monday, and you can get it at the John Hunt Park clinic! It will be available to the general population between late September and early November. (WAAY)
- Madison County Schools has republished their COVID-19 dashboard, which provides their positive case number within the system. There are currently over 500 positive cases, which is about 2.5% of the school system’s population. (WHNT)
- If you’re in the Moores Mill area, you may have experienced a power outage around 5 this morning. It was planned by Huntsville Utilities and it was expected to last until 6 a.m. (WHNT)
- Huntsville is leading the country’s metro areas in economic recovery! They also made the list for being a “magnet for millennials” (4th) and a tech hub for growth potential (6th). (AL.com)
- A senior at James Clemons has been named a 2021 National Cyber Scholar. Alex King was one of 5,000 selected out of 50,000 to compete in a cyber challenge and managed to complete the challenge successfully! (themadisonrecord.com)
