- A JROTC fundraising event in Lacey’s Spring has residents concerned with the location. JROTC member Austin Hutchen hosted a hayride on his father’s land, but his father’s status as a registered sex offender has drawn negative attention to the event. Hutchen is the hayride driver, and says his father was not involved at all. He has planned another hayride fundraiser next week, when his father plans to be away. (WAFF)
- The Beer & Wine Festival will be back at Toyota Field TODAY! You can buy general admission tickets today, and you’ll get three hours of unlimited beer, wine and spirits. Designated drivers get in for $10 and get unlimited soda and water, and no minors will be admitted. (WZDX)
- The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library will still be hosting their 25 cent book sale today for the general public at the downtown location! The same sale will happen next weekend at the Monrovia location and members will receive access the Friday ahead of the event. (WHNT News 19)
