Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:

  1. Lee High School Theatre will be competing in the Trumbauer State Festival this upcoming weekend! Their student-written play, “Sing Like A Girl” won Best in Show for their District Festival and will be in the running once again. (Lee High School)
  2. Huntsville City Schools has officially voted in the new 'Mask Matrix' procedure. This will allow the school system to evaluate conditions weekly to decide if masks will be allowed. (WZDX)
  3. Bob Jones Air Force JROTC earned the highest ranking possible at their inspection. This inspection takes place every three years, and after the all-day event, their overall score was “Exceeds Standards.” (themadisonrecord.com)
  4. Alabama, including Huntsville and the surrounding areas, is seeing medication shortages. If you have any medications that are important to your daily life, local pharmacies urge you make sure you aren’t waiting to order them because they might be backordered. (WHNT)
  5. Limestone County deputies are looking for a stolen farm harrow, which is a machine to break down soil. The $50,000 piece of equipment was possibly taken by a suspect in a box truck. (WAFF)
