- Breeze Airways has announced a drop in some of the prices of flights out of Huntsville. One-way flights to Tampa and Las Vegas between Jan. 11 and Feb. 14 will start at $39!
(WHNT News 19) - Pipes have burst at Johnson Elementary and Sugar Creek Elementary Schools, as well as East Limestone and Tanner High Schools, rendering the spaces unusable and causing the Limestone County School System to declare an emergency. Both elementary schools has classrooms affected and it is unclear when students will be able to return. (WAFF)
- Three warning sirens within Madison County are known to be out of service and waiting for replacements. The three locations are: Fire Station 15 on Sparkman, the Indian Creek/Old Monrovia roundabout, and Dunlop Road. (WHNT News 19)
