- The Alabama A&M Marching Maroon and White Band has announced that they were picked for the 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! They were selected as one of three university marching bands in the country to perform. A $10,000 donation was presented to kick off the donation drive to get the band to NYC. (WHNT)
- Huntsville has been selected to host the NCAA Women’s Golf Regionals for 2026 at the Highlands Course at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course at Hampton Cove. The competition is expected to have an economic impact of nearly $800,000. (WAAY)
