1. Kristen Steele, a chemistry teacher at James Clemens, is a finalist for the Alabama Teacher of the Year. She is one of four finalists, and the winner will be announced at a ceremony in Montgomery on May 11. (WAAY)

3. Alabama A&M has announced their graduation has been pushed back two hours due to weather. It will now be Friday at noon, followed by their Founder’s Day ceremony at 4 p.m. (WAFF)
