  1. The Huntsville Police Honor Guard chose to honor Sgt. Risner with a rifle salute yesterday. They were able to do this at his private burial ceremony, and they collected the used cartridges to present to the family. (WAAY)
  2. New restaurants are finding their way to the Rocket City! Clift Farm welcomed Jonathan’s Grille earlier in the month, and Moe’s Original BBQ is now at Town Madison for all of your Trash Pandas pre-game, post-game, and mid-game needs! (themadisonrecord.com)
  3. On October 22, St. John Paul II Catholic High School will start celebrating their 25th anniversary year off big! They will host a Feast Day Mass and festival that will be free to past, present, and future students, as well as the entire community. (themadisonrecord.com)
  4. Boeing has donated $3.5 million to the Space and Rocket Center. This was made for the new Space Camp center that is under construction! The new center will have space for signing in for camp, graduation, and classrooms! (AL.com)
