Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:
- All roads in Huntsville and Madison have reopened. However, caution should still be used, especially on shady roads, areas of elevation and overpasses. (Huntsville-Madison County Emergency Management Agency via Facebook)
- This year's "Operation Christmas Cleanup" recycling event will be Saturday, Dec. 7 from 8 a.m.- 1 p.m. There will be locations set up at John Hunt Park and the Madison City Schools Stadium. You can take live trees that have been stripped of ornaments, lights and tinsel. They will also accept cardboard boxes that have been broken down, batteries and old electronics, but you cannot take artificial trees, wrapping paper, plastic or Styrofoam. (WHNT News 19)
