Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:

1. County Line Road in Madison will be closed today from 5:20- 6:45 p.m. for James Clemens High School’s homecoming parade. The road will be closed from Gillespie/ Huntsville Brownsferry to Mill/Arbor Trace. (Madison Police Department)
2. The Huntsville Hospital Fever and Flu Clinic now has appointments open to receive the new Pfizer COVID-19 bivalent booster. Appointments will start Monday and the booster is available for ages 12+. (WHNT News 19)
3. Municipal runoff elections are Tuesday. Up for the vote will be Huntsville City Board of Education District 3 and District 2 Huntsville City Council. Polls will be open 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. and you can pick up absentee ballots through the end of business today. (WHNT News 19)
4. The Madison County School District is making plans for two new schools. One would be in Toney, and the other would be in Hazel Green. At a minimum, the schools could see students as early as 2026 or 2027. (WAFF)
