Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:

  1. Microwave Dave Day is October 24th at Stovehouse this year! The party starts at 2:30, but Microwave Dave and the Nukes will be on the stage at 8 p.m. (WHNT)
  2. Huntsville Police are facing some questions after Christina Nance was found in a police van twelve days after she went missing. The van was in a constantly-trafficked area, so they are looking into how nobody found Nance for twelve days after she entered the vehicle. (CNN)
  3. Over the weekend, a water main broke on Pulaski and caused damage to the road. The break was between Ford Place and Greenhill Drive and also caused damage to at least one home. (WHNT)
  4. The Madison County Commission is meeting tonight to name their third new member this year. The open seat will represent District 9. (The Jackson Sun)
  5. Alabama A&M lost over the weekend to Florida A&M this weekend in a 35-31 game. This is the first time the two teams have played each other since 1979, when Alabama took it home. (Tallahassee)
