- The City of Huntsville has said that the accident that resulted in the death of a city employee is being investigated by an outside group. No details have been released about the investigation or who is doing it. (WAFF)
- American Legion Post 229 and the Bob Jones JROTC are teaming up for a yard sale at Bob Jones High School September 25. They are accepting donations from the public and vendor spaces require a $10 reservation fee. (themadisonrecord.com)
- The State of Alabama has filed a motion against Mike Blakely’s request for a new trial. Blakely filed a request on August 30 arguing that his trial was not fair and cited several reasons that the state has attempted to dispute in their motion. (WAFF)
- As of September 7, an error that left out the 3% development fee at Clift Farms has been fixed. Breland Companies decided to charge this in lieu of incentives for the development. (WZDX)
- Huntsville Hospital is opening a pediatric COVID-19 testing clinic TODAY! If you have someone under 18 that needs to be tested, they can go to this clinic and be tested without an appointment. There will not be a doctor on-site. (WHNT)
