- Valentina's Pizzeria and Wine Bar in Madison has won first prize for the Southeast Region in the International Pizza Competition’s “Best Traditional Pizza” category! The owner, Joe Carlucci, was also named the “Fastest Pizza Maker” in 2019 Naples, Italy, so the food is clearly as fast as it is tasty! (WZDX)
- The Huntsville Museum of Art’s “9/11 and Beyond”exhibit opens tomorrow! It will feature the famous “Falling Man” photo that sparked so much controversy and conversation at its release. (Huntsville Museum of Art)
- The Monte Sano Art Festival is one week from tomorrow! Don’t forget that while it is free, the park charges $10 for cars and $5 for walk-ins and is cash only. (WHNT)
- Boeing is in the process of expanding its Huntsville facilities after a groundbreaking ceremony was held Wednesday. The construction should be finished sometime before the end of 2022. (themadisonrecord.com)
- The FBI has started construction on their new Innovation Center at the Arsenal. This will be the first of its kind and will allow for collaboration between divisions and enhance their technological abilities. (Yellowhammer News)
