- The North Alabama Zoological Society (NAZS) has faced a setback due to a contract falling through. According to a NAZS spokesperson, the owner of the development company, Lansing Companies, has been dealing with medical issues that caused them to be unable to finish the deal. Should this land get bought by someone else, NAZS has backup properties in mind. (WAAY)
- USA Today has ranked the Huntsville Botanical Garden as number four in the nation! The competition started with 20 contenders. They were also ranked number 2 for Best Botanical Garden Holiday Lights back in 2020. (WAFF)
- Since there have been a few alligator sightings lately, the MPD wants to make sure you know they’re a Federally Protected Species. If you find one on your property during business hours, call (256)353-2634. If it is after business hours, call (800)272-4263. (Madison Police Department)
- Campus 805 has given the Huntsville Hospital Foundation over $50,000 in gift cards. The gift cards will be passed out in some of their hospitals and will be used by healthcare workers. (Huntsville Hospital)
