Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:

  1. Yesterday, a wrong-way vehicle going down Whitesburg around lunchtime resulted in two other cars being hit and the driver suffering mild injuries. According to police, the driver of the car going the wrong way potentially suffered a medical incident. There were no other injuries reported. (WHNT News 19)
  2. The new Books-A-Million location has opened in Huntsville. The new spot is just down the road from the recently closed location, but now on South Memorial. They’re hosting a grand opening Saturday starting at 9:30 a.m. (WHNT News 19)
  3. After a team effort with the city and county, Huntsville recycling program is officially all caught up. Over 250 tons of recycling materials were collected over the weekend and if you still haven't had yours picked up, you'll need to report it by emailing support@recycling-alliance.com or calling 256-801-CART (2278).
