  1. Thanks to a vote by the Alabama Judicial Resources Allocation Commission, Madison County is getting a new circuit judgeship! The position was in a district with an excess of judges in Jefferson County and will be transferred to a Madison district with a need. (themadisonrecord.com)
  2. Around ⅔ of the garbage trucks in the city are down for maintenance. Thanks to supply chain issues, that will probably be the case until at least August. Citizens should expect their trash pickup to be 2-3 days late every week. (WHNT)
  3. There is going to be a meeting held by the Concerned Citizens of SW Huntsville-SE Limestone on June 14. The meeting is in regards to the new Rabbit Lane subdivision and the effects it will have on current citizens in the area. It will be held at 6 p.m. at New Hope Church on SW Wall Street in Madison.
