Girls Inc. celebrated their 50th anniversary this week in what Mayor Battle has declared the “Year of the Girl.” They kicked off their “Fuel Her Fire” campaign, which aims to bridge the gaps in learning loss and fill the needs of girls today. (WAFF)
A new mixed-use development called Arcadia is headed to Research Park. It will take the place of an old Catholic high school that is currently being demolished, and will offer space for offices, retail, apartments, and restaurants. The current goal is for Arcadia to be completed by 2024. (WAAY)
