- Huntsville is getting a professional soccer team! They are working with the Nashville Soccer Club to create an MLS NEXT Pro team to call Joe Davis Stadium home. The agreement will be presented at tomorrow’s city council meeting. (City of Huntsville)
- Did you know Huntsville played a part in the James Webb Space Telescope being able to get those pictures? NeXolve, a company in Huntsville, created the sun shields that protect it from the heat from the sun. Marshall’s Dr. Philip Stahl invented the technology to create the telescope’s mirrors. The work being done in the Rocket City is so incredible. (WHNT)
- The Parks and Recreation Month Community Chalk Art Festival is Friday at Big Spring! It will coincide with the Food Trucks vs. Trailers Rally, so enjoy some art and a bite to eat starting at 5:30! (WAFF)
- Masks are required in buildings on the Arsenal starting today. This will affect all personnel in all buildings on the Arsenal. (Theredstonerocket)
- Gate 9 on the Arsenal will close to entering traffic tonight starting at 9 p.m. tonight. Gate 8 is the designated detour gate, and will be open until 9 p.m. tomorrow, but gate 9 is expected to reopen at 4 a.m. tomorrow. Outgoing traffic will not be affected. (WHNT)
