Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:

  1. Over 1900 new recycling carts are set to be delivered in Madison County starting this week! These carts were delayed for several months, but once they’re all delivered, the total number of recycling carts in Madison County will be nearly 100,000. (WAAY)
  2. The City of Decatur has announced their first-ever Día de los Muertos celebration! It will be held downtown on November 2. You’ll be able to take part in the music, authentic food, costumes, and art. (Fox 54)
  3. Last night’s Concert in the Park in Decatur was canceled at the last minute due to the death of the spouse of one of the band members. There has not been mention of the concert being rescheduled at this time. (Decatur Parks and Recreation)
  4. The Greater Huntsville Humane Society is partnering with Huntsville House Rabbits Saturday for a free Bunny 101 course. This event will be at 1 p.m. at Three Tails Resale. (Greater Huntsville Humane Society)
