- Delta has added a new nonstop flight destination from Huntsville! They will have flights straight to Indianapolis for the National Championship and will be offered January 8-9. (WAFF)
- Huntsville Fire & Rescue has started their 2022 hiring campaign, “Ignite Your Journey.” The process takes about six months for recruit school. Make sure to check it out whether you’ve dreamed of fighting fires or not! (WZDX)
- So many were left without power after the winter storm this weekend, and yesterday, hundreds in Athens were still without power. As I’m writing this at 5:30 a.m., all of the power outage maps are showing that power has been restored to all of the area! (WAAY)
- Huntsville Animal Services is encouraging donations in honor of Betty White January 17, which would have been the day she turned 100. White was an avid animal lover and was known for trying to make the lives of animals better, so the internet has started the idea of donating $5 on her birthday to a local shelter or rescue, and we have several great ones to choose from in our area!
