Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:
- A four-year-old child was shot and killed Saturday on Seminole Drive. Not much information has been released at this time about what happened or anyone involved. (WAFF)
- The Huntsville Planning Commission approved a 64-lot layout on Monte Sano. A couple of nearby residents asked for the decision to be postponed to look at other access points, but the vote went through. (AL.com)
- The three Madison County Circuit Judge finalists are set to interview with Governor Ivey on July 13. Nine applicants applied to fill this judgeship transferred from Jefferson County. (WHNT)
- July is Parks and Recreation Month, and Huntsville has big plans to celebrate! There are a ton of free events and activities to celebrate, so make sure to take advantage! (Patch)
