Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:
- The Athens Middle School cheer team won State Championships in Junior High and Gameday. This makes their fourth consecutive state title. (Athens City Schools via Facebook)
- Ground has been broken on the 350-unit apartment development that will be near the airport. The development, Attain at Bradford Creek, is expected to be finished by September 2024, but they expect that some units will be available starting March 2024. (AL.com)
- The City of Huntsville and the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber are looking for volunteers for the 2023 Para-Cycling Road World Cup scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend 2023. It will be May 29, after the annual Cotton Row Run. (The Redstone Rocket)
