Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:
- Madison County is in the process of making their redistricting plans. As of now, they do not think another commissioner will be added, despite the county’s growth. There is a commission meeting today at 10 a.m. if you want to go talk about redistricting! (WAFF)
- The Food Bank of North Alabama received a $100,000 donation from Publix Charities! This was for National Hunger Action Month. (WZDX)
- Athens Main Street has gotten a $14,500 grant for Merchants Alley Renovation Project, which brings the total funds to $120,000. The money was given by the Limestone County Legislative Delegation. (WZDX)
- If you’re interested in the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering, they’ve announced several preview days from September through November to find out about the 2022-2023 school year. They will open the doors to their new campus August 2022, so if you’re interested, sunbit an admissions inquiry! (WHNT)
