Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:

1. Madison County is in the process of making their redistricting plans. As of now, they do not think another commissioner will be added, despite the county’s growth. There is a commission meeting today at 10 a.m. if you want to go talk about redistricting! (WAFF)
2. The Food Bank of North Alabama received a $100,000 donation from Publix Charities! This was for National Hunger Action Month. (WZDX)
3. Athens Main Street has gotten a $14,500 grant for Merchants Alley Renovation Project, which brings the total funds to $120,000. The money was given by the Limestone County Legislative Delegation. (WZDX)
4. If you’re interested in the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering, they’ve announced several preview days from September through November to find out about the 2022-2023 school year. They will open the doors to their new campus August 2022, so if you’re interested, sunbit an admissions inquiry! (WHNT)
