- Huntsville has decided to take redistricting participation online! There is a guide on the city’s website with instructions for how to participate virtually. Plans that meet guidelines will be presented by the Redistricting Team during public hearings. (WHNT)
- Did you know October is Huntsville History Month? The Convention and Visitors Bureau will be hosting events all month, so make sure to check it out! (themadisonrecord.com)
- The Tennessee River Coon Hunters Association is hosting an all-day fundraiser. The money raised will benefit Sgt. Chris Dillard from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department after his recent ALS diagnosis (Arab Tribune)
- On the first day that the South Huntsville Public Library was open, over 2,400 books were checked out! They also have amenities like gaming rooms and 3D printers. (WZDX)
- North Alabamians might want to go ahead and start your holiday shopping. Business owners in the area have seen continued supply chain issues that will likely make shopping less successful as the holidays get closer. (WHNT)
