Here are the top stories in Huntsville today:

  1. The snow has finished up, but with up to around 7 inches on the ground in some areas, roads will be dangerous. The snow will likely turn icy on the roads before the morning commute, so if you can, stay off the roads today! (WHNT)
  2. The National Weather Service has confirmed two tornadoes touched down in Madison County Saturday. Both were EF-0 tornadoes, with one in North Madison and the other in Triana. (WHNT)
  3. The Madison County Commission will vote on the new district lines January 5. There are three options of maps on the table. (themadisonrecord.com)
  4. Madison City Schools will start the semester with masks required. According to their masking matrix, the area will have to drop down to moderate risk and stay there for two weeks before they will be able to go to masks recommended. (Madison City Schools)
